AGATHA HUTTON

Agatha is a Singaporean artist with Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. As a versatile instructor and artist, she has experience with oil, acrylic, watercolour painting as well as charcoal, pencil and pastel drawing.

CHIHO TAMURA

Chiho Tamura, art instructor

[Charcoal, Acrylic, Watercolour, Oil, Digital Art]

Chiho is a Japanese artist who graduated from Musashino Art University with degree in Imaging Arts and Sciences. With strong background in fine arts, she specializes in painting and drawing using the mediums charcoal, pencil, oil, watercolour and acrylic, in subjects such as portraiture and still-life. She also teaches lessons in digital art and illustration.

HANNAH TAN

[Oil, Watercolour, Acrylic]

Hannah Tan is an established painter with a Master of Art in Fine Art Degree from LASALLE College of the Arts. She has been teaching painting to adults since 2012 and is a practicing visual artist who is well versed in various paint media such as oil, acrylic and watercolour.

Hannah Tan, art instructor

KIMIE NAGAI

[JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY]

Kimie Nagai is a Japanese Calligraphy artist and art instructor in Studio Miu. 
She acquired the Highest Rank 9th Degree Certification, Shuji Kenkyu Sha (習字研究社) in 2014 and has been practicing the art for more than 10 years. She hopes to share the beauty of calligraphy with others and inspire them to enjoy the simplicity of the art form.

LIM CHOON JIN

[Chinese Ink Painting]

Lim Choon Jin, a renowned local artist, has been involved in countless exhibitions in Singapore. He holds Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and Bachelor 1st Class Honors Degree in Visual Art. He specializes in Chinese Ink Painting of Modern Shanshui ( Landscape) and Traditional Hua-niao (fugural works of plants and animals).

MAX KONG

[Acrylic, Oil, Abstract Art, Mixed Media]

Max Kong graduated with Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Lasalle College of the Arts. He won many awards including the Platinum Award of the 28th UOB Painting of the Year Competition. He specializes in teaching acrylic and mixed media painting. Max's work had been featured in international art fairs in Singapore, Korea and Japan. Over the last 15 years, Max has exhibited his works extensively in Singapore, Korea, Japan, Thailand, China and New York.

MAYA TAKAHASHI

[Oil, Charcoal, Pencil, Acrylic] 

Maya is a Japanese artist who graduated from Tama Art University with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts-Major in Oil Painting, She specializes in pencil, charcoal drawings as well as oil painting.

ROXANNE CHUA

[Manga & Illustration] 

Roxanne has a Diploma in Digital Media Design and has been teaching both traditional and digital illustration for 15 years. She has taught at MOE schools at primary, secondary and JC levels. 

Traditional mediums she specialises in are pencil, ink, screentones, colour pencils, copic markers and watercolour. Digital platforms are Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint.

Aside from teaching, Roxanne often takes on art and graphic commissions for both local and international companies, and has regular exhibitions to showcase her artwork and share her passion for illustration.

Satoshi Kobayashi

[Oil, Acrylic,Watercolour, Pencil, Charcoal ]

Satoshi studied Master of Japanese Painting at Tokyo Art University. He moved to Singapore in 2014 to teach Art at The Japanese School. He has experience in various mediums and was the first Japanese Artist to win the Bronze Award at the UOB Painting of the Year in Singapore (2016). 

Saya Yamguchi, ceramic

SAYA YAMAGUCHI

[Ceramic Art]

Saya graduated with Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, Ceramic at Kyoto Seika University, Japan. Over the years, she has been a very active ceramic artist and has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Singapore.
